Darim MG 100, mpeg encoder, capture board, VCD encoding

The New Wave of MPEG1 encoders

DARIM MG100 real time capture board for MPEG encoding is an affordable consumer-level price that brings the power of MPEG video contents creation to everybody's desktop. This card have a preset parameters for VCD encoding.

The core of MG-100 board is Zapex Z1011 chip that carries out the entire image compression and motion estimation task during real time video digitizing thus enabling the design of low cost MPEG1 video compression hardware. Simultaneous and synchronous real time audio compression is performed using the onboard MPEG encoding DSP chip.

MG-100 user interface software allows you to capture SIF or QSIF resolution video and stereo audio. It produces elementary MPEG video, audio or system layer (synchronized video/audio) streams in real time. The input video source can be viewed before and during capture through a realistic WYSIWYG preview window.

For those who need to tailor MG-100 software for their needs, it comes with royalty free Software Development Kit (MG100SDK) . Darim encourages developers to take advantage of this offer and create custom applications best suited to their needs based on MPEGator SDK.
