HISTORY

BerClare Multimedia Inc. was established since 1993, starting up at the time when MPEG1 and the Internet was relatively unknown. BernClare was one of the few "high tech" company to start distributing products on MPEG1 for VCD, then, MPEG 2 for DVD, and in late 1997, video streaming over the LAN.BernClare started its first web address, www.berclare.com in 1997.

By early 2000, BernClare was one of the first to distribute video surveillance product by GeoVision, then AverMedia. By 2003, in search of H.264 hardware encoders, BernClare joined venture with IDLVR in China, ShenZhen to market PC based ILDVR cards and cctv cameras. In 2007, ILDVR and BernClare start to market H264 based standalone NVRs, IP video cameras, IP servers, and Central Management software for cctv surveillance. BernClare is also a strong distributor on broadcast or webcast product from Optibase, Viewcast, Digital Rapids, Vitec. 		Product line summary
